1 ½ cups buttermilk

1 cup whole wheat kernels

*1 tblsp. butter1 egg

¼ tsp. salt

2 tblsp. brown sugar

1 tblsp. baking powder

¼ tsp. baking soda

1 cup chopped peaches

Mix buttermilk and wheat kernels in blender 3 minutes. Add butter, egg, salt, and brown sugar. Blend 10 seconds. Add baking powder and soda. Pulse 2-3 times until mixed. Let mixture foam and get light. Add chopped peaches, stir in with a spoon. If the blender is too full after foaming just pour batter into a bowl and add the peaches. Cook at once

*You can substitute honey for brown sugar or 1 packet of stevia. You can substitute the 1 tbsp. butter &or 1 tbsp. coconut oil.

We like to top them with a bit of butter and homemade peach butter. Also delicious with pure maple syrup and fresh peanut butter.
